Peru: trekking Cordillera Blanca – Santa Cruz trek
While on a kite trip to Peru, the call of the mountains was too much to ignore, so I made my way to Huaraz and completed the Santa Cruz trek with Huascaran Adventures. The most famous of all the Cordillera Blanca Treks with two high mountain passes and fabulous views of famous peaks Alpamayo, Huascaran, and Artesonraju of Paramount Pictures fame! Lagoons, waterfalls, peaks, and valleys with the high point of 15,420′ (4700m).
