My manifesto . . .
Here’s what I know: it’s a good time to be a woman.
Women are advancing in all sectors of government, business, and society.
There has never been a more open door to be self-actualized individuals living our truth and dreams.
It’s time to un-learn any messaging we got that said we should be small, subservient, fill a role rather than a life, or pursue our authentic goals any differently than men.
AND we can do it in our own feminine way . . . with grace and grit.
Gone are the days of “being one of the guys” and here are the days of being 100% you as you hang with talented groups of people, sometimes mostly men.
Gone are the days of scarcity of opportunities for women and here are the days of women helping women rise individually and collectively. We know that a “rising tide lifts all ships.”
Gone are the days of being less autonomous than men and having anything less than full agency in our lives.
Here are the days of balance and integration: Of work, home, self-care, and play.
And remember, if you can DREAM it, you can DO it!
