Are you ready to fly around in super cubs and hang out in the Brooks range in style, inviting clarity for what's next in your life?

This trip is about working with big landscapes to connect with big ideas and big dreams … and let the truth emerge of what that really looks like for YOU.

A perfect time to reconnect with yourself - or connect to yourself at a depth you’ve never known.

The wilderness has a way of drawing things out of people.  Clarity. Insight. Truth that lands in your bones.  A before and after.  An inflection point.  Stepping more fully into a created life, an interruption of the default life unfolding now.

We will explore together in a small group of people who think it's a good idea to go to the wildest of all wild places.  People who think it’s a good idea to ask Alaska what Alaska has to say about all of it.

Because if there’s one thing Alaska does well, it tells the truth.

Solstice 2026, June 19-25th . . .  when the sun goes around in circles above your head . . . the arctic at the peak of summer is literally something else.
Big wilderness.  Like, "you can't even imagine how big," big.
Small group.  Application only, 3 guests, cultivated like the whole experience.

dude, i want in.

The mountains are calling . . .

I want to apply!

What will we do?
No two days look the same.  We let the weather and landscape lead.

It will include some combination of flying, hiking/walking, floating rivers (packraft), chilling in a valley to let it do its thing, finding cool animals, or getting up to something we can't imagine yet!

The best part of any day happens at dinner when you're reflecting on your day and trying to explain what just happened . . . and realize you can't.

Dates: June 19-25, 2026
Cost: $10,300
Included: transportation to/from Deadhorse, AK; lodging, meals, daily adventuring, coaching

Getting there:  You'll fly into Deadhorse, AK (home of Prudhoe Bay) on the morning of the 19th on Alaska Airlines AS 58 and we'll pick you up and drive 1.5 hrs south on the Dalton Highway to Happy Valley.  We'll load up the Supercubs and fly out to our home on the Ivishak River.  The reverse is true on the way home on June 24th via Alaska Airlines AS 87.  Flights to Deadhorse connect through Anchorage, so it's a great way to extend the trip if you've always wanted to see more of Alaska!

Coaching:
Included are (3) 1:1 virtual coaching sessions - 1 before the trip and 2 after - to assure we design around your goals, and integrate the magic that happens. On the trip, coaching and conversation thread through everything as a natural response to what emerges.

I'm ready - let's go!

Who's it for?

The Brooks Range is a place that tells the truth.

Out here, things simply are what they are.
The weather does what it does.
The rivers run where they run.
The land simply is.

That kind of environment has a way of showing us things about ourselves.
This experience is for people who are curious about that process.

People who want space to think clearly about their lives, their direction, and what they want to build next.
It is also for people who feel drawn to wilderness. Those who know that stepping away from the noise of everyday life can reveal things that are hard to see while you are inside it.

You might have a sense of something being “off,” or you might just be called to huge wilderness with legit “OG” adventurers. You don’t need to come with a problem to solve and you don’t have to do a deep dive into anything if you’re not called to . . . and if the big landscapes and immersive wilderness crack something open (which they pretty much always do), we’ll be there to give it structure.

We keep the group intentionally small so that real conversations can unfold and everyone has the time and space to explore what matters to them.
It is a week spent in one of the wildest landscapes in North America with an intimate group curious about life and its unfolding.

And it’s for people who think fun is fun. I mean, we’re going to explore with airplanes, rafts, on foot, or whatever else unfolds. We’re going to see amazing animals and hang out in some pretty unreal places. At a minimum, it will be a damn good time :)

Is this you?

hell yes!  how do i apply?

Kellie — so present you finally hear yourself think.

Emily — so real you remember what real feels like.

Matt — so competent you just relax.

When you think Alaskan power couple, think Matt and Emily Thoft. True adventurers and lovers of both the wilderness and aviation, their offer is sharing the magic that they live. Experts at the Brooks Range and where to land for the best adventuring, wildlife viewing, hiking, or hunting . . . they also have deep respect for the land and its power.

Matt and Emily are what you think when you think “true Alaskan.“ They spend much of their winter trapping on the western Alaska range from the cabin they built themselves during Covid. They guide Brown bear hunts all the way out Aleutian Peninsula, and spend the summer in the Brooks range, ultimately guiding sheep and caribou hunts in the fall.

Matt, an airplane mechanic in addition to being a pilot, is the guy that will fix his own blown oil seal at -20° and not think twice about it. In any upcoming apocalypse if there is one, these are the two you’ll want to be with! To top it off, they’re genuinely fun, kind, generous, and a true joy to be around.

I am allergic to wasted energy and distortion. Whether it's a dysfunctional team, a debased currency, inefficient oil and gas operation, or a human being living a default life . . . I see the value trapped and am on a mission to liberate it.

My coaching style probably feels more like hanging out with a friend in the wilderness, while hearing your own truth in a way you didn't know you were missing.  I am a truth seeker and a truth teller, and love things and places that elicit truth.

A systems thinker and a chemical engineer to the bone, I love complexity and mechanism. Yes to feelings, but even more yes to connecting to their wisdom and what it tells us about what's going on "under the hood." I don't have a halfway setting and I keep my cup full with a life of my own design.  I love pouring out of it in values-aligned ways like pulling off a week in the Brooks Range that will leave you speechless.

Chemical engineer. former Oil and gas executive.
Systems thinker. Vitality Architect. Coach. adventurer.
